Today, in Sveti Nikole, the President of CCM, Darko Dimovski, together with the Mayor, Saso Velkovski and the Advisor in the Government of RNM, Milan Zivkovic had a meeting with the workers to whom due to the expiration of their fixed-term employment contracts, the employer did not extend their contracts.
Workers, some of them single parents, parents of children with special needs, part-time workers, indicate that they are being pressured to sign redundancy decisions after the end of the temporary forced leave.
CCM, as was the case with the other "bosses" for which had filed complaints shall take all legal measures against the employer in cooperation with all competent judicial and state institutions in order to ensure workers' rights determined by law and collective agreement.
Unfortunately, this shows that our request to reduce the duration of the employment contracts from 5 to 1 year and thus provide social security for workers is justified, especially due to the frequent abuse of this mechanism by unscrupulous bosses.
We would like to inform the workers that the office of CCM in Sveti Nikole will be open to all workers regarding their need of free legal assistance from CCM.
We will follow the actions of the employer in the next period and react if neccessary.
