K-15 IS A RIGHT PROVIDED BY SSM WITH THE COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT
The Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia has provided for all employees in the private and public sectors, through the General Collective Agreement for the Private Sector and through the General Collective Agreement for the Public Sector, the right to annual leave (K-15).
CENTRAL COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT for the Private Sector in the field of economy, in Article 35, has provided for the annual leave to be paid in the amount of at least 40% of the base salary or 18,141 denars, provided that the employee has worked for at least 6 months in the calendar year with the same employer.
CENTRAL COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT for the Public Sector, in Article 21, has provided for the employees in the public sector to have the right to annual leave to be paid in the amount of at least 30% of the base salary or 12,372 denars, provided that the employee has worked for at least 6 months in the calendar year with the same employer.
They remind that at the request of the CSM, the annual vacation allowance, as a tax-deductible expense for profit tax purposes, amounts to 54,544 denars (The data for annual vacation allowance is a gross amount that also includes personal income tax) and that nothing prevents employers from paying an allowance in the amount of 80% of the average salary.
In 80% of cases in the private sector where the SSM has its members, the annual vacation allowance by collective agreement at the employer level is set at 100% of the average salary, and it has already been paid, which should be a reason for more workers in the private sector to join the SSM!
Where the SSM has members, there is also K-15, there is also respect for the Collective Agreements, and where there is no union, the bosses think they can trample over the workers and therefore the SSM encourages all workers in the private and public sectors to join the union and protect their rights, because none of the workers' rights are given to them as a gift, we have chosen for each one, emphasize the SSM.
