Floracom employees hold one-hour protest, announcing more radical measures if their salaries are not paid!

Employees of Florakom, a subsidiary of the public enterprise "Parks and Greenery", today held a one-hour protest in front of the entrance to the public enterprise, demanding the payment of two salaries and the payment of health and pension insurance.

If both salaries are not paid by July 15, the legal deadline for salary payments, they announce more radical measures by blocking the intersection of Ilindenska Boulevard.

- The irresponsibility for unpaid salaries lies directly with the management of "Parks and Greenery". So far, the employees have not received 2 salaries and if both salaries are not paid by the 15th of this month, which is the legal deadline for salary payment, on July 16 we will block the intersection in front of the entrance to "Parks and Greenery" - stated the president of the Trade Union of Workers in the Catering, Tourism, Communal-Housing Economy, Crafts and Protective Societies (SUTKOZ), Stojanche Kashikovski.

Kashikovski pointed out that they have tried to contact the management of "Parks and Greenery" several times so far and that the director has never called them to a meeting to resolve the problems of the employees.

SUTKOZ announces that criminal charges will be filed against the director for non-payment of salaries in accordance with the General Collective Agreement, criminal charges will be filed, criminal charges for non-payment of vacation pay have already been filed.

– We have filed several reports with the State Labor Inspectorate, for which the director is obliged to take action, but according to our information, he pays the fines from the employees' money and does not act according to the law and the Collective Agreement for the payment of salaries and salary supplements – said Kashikovski.
