SUTKOZ - the only representative trade union for communal services and SSM inform the public that on 21.10.2025 at 11:30 am, the Executive Board of the Trade Union Organisation of SUTKOZ at PE Komunalna Higiena Skopje held a meeting to discuss the situation in the enterprise.
The management of the enterprise, i.e. the director of the enterprise (who did not come to the meeting) and the Board of Directors of the enterprise, were invited to the meeting.
For several months now, the employees of the enterprise have been paid their salaries with a delay, despite our knowledge that funds are regularly transferred to the enterprise's account from the collection of bills from citizens.
Despite the delay in the payment of salaries for September, we would like to inform the public that the employees of the company regularly perform their work tasks with the funds at their disposal, which are insufficient in number, i.e. there is a shortage of garbage collection trucks, and for a large number of them there are no spare parts and they are not in a roadworthy condition.
The fault for such a situation does not lie with the employees of the company, who make every effort to collect the garbage, but with the management of the company.
The employees of the company and SUTKOZ will take all measures against the management of the company that are at their disposal, in accordance with the Laws and Collective Agreements (criminal charges and reports to the State Labor Inspectorate), while taking care not to put in question the position or health of any employee of the company, as well as the health of the citizens of the city of Skopje.
