The minimum wage must be increased to at least 500 euros, and with it the other wages must also be increased by at least 100 euros because 55.7% of Macedonian citizens cannot afford a one-week vacation.
It is alarming that the value of the Trade Union Minimum Basket, which they tried to dispute because it, according to them, envisaged luxury, includes the cost of a seven-night stay in Dojran from June 23 to 30, but half of Macedonian workers cannot afford even that.
An increase in wages is needed so that Macedonian workers can afford a decent vacation for themselves and their families, because both the minimum and average wages are the lowest in the region, and with them 55.7% of workers cannot afford a vacation.
