The union minimum basket for October 2025, according to the calculations of the SSM, amounts to 65,544 denars, which is an increase of 467 denars compared to September, when the basket amounted to 65,077 denars.
If the cost of renting an apartment with an area of 60 square meters is included in the calculation, the total value of the union minimum basket reaches 80,919 denars, which additionally shows the real picture of the costs of a four-member family.
The largest increase was recorded in the costs of food and beverages, which in October amounted to 23,772 denars, i.e. higher by 378 denars compared to the previous month.
The constant increase in the prices of basic products and services once again shows the need to align salaries with the real cost of living, as well as to continuously monitor the economic conditions that directly affect the living standards of workers and their families.
