Conference of women section on the occasion of 8 march

President Zivko Mitrevski: We have many goals to improve the protection of women and other vulnerable groups

Women Section of SSM today, on the occasion of 8 March held a conference entitled "Stop for discrimination against women - women's rights and equal opportunities for men and women in the country."

The conference sent an appeal to stop discrimination and for faster adoption of the Law on mobbing.

In the women section of SSM, chaired by Elizabeta Gelevska, members are women sections of the trade unions affiliated in SSM, while the conference was attended by a number of collaborators from other institutions.

President of SSM Zivko Mitrevski, PhD, emphasized that SSM is active participant in the national document "Strategy for Gender Equality 2013 - 2020" and that the fight against gender discrimination is one of the fundamental goals of SSM’s platform.
