Workers not to sign any blank papers or any agreements for termination of employment

Darko Dimovski, President of SSM - We appeal workers not to sign any blank papers, or any agreements for termination of employment so that we, the unions and the State Labor Inspectorate can act and prevent all illegal occurrences.

Oliver Spasovski, Prime Minister, urges workers not to sign consensual dismissals, and employers to show solidarity and bear some of the burden because even after the crisis, we all together should continue the economic activity of the state.

He added, the workes should not sign dismissal agreements. In this situation, the state provides helps for the workers, and does everything possible in order workers to keep their jobs, but the workers must also help themselves, and the least they can do is not to sign agreements. There is the Labor Law that protects them.

Alajdin Havziu, the Director of the State Labor Inspectorate, said, - After some employers gave dismissal agreements to the employees during the corona crisis, the State Labor Inspectorate appeals to the workers to report any forced dismissal. The Director emphasises that the Inspectarote takes adequate actions wherever they find that layoffs are not in line with the Labor Law.
