Today, in the premises of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, the Social Partners, together with the members of the expert mission for harmonization of the Labor Law will discuss the text of the new Labor Law on the workshop that will last until July 26, 2019.
Representatives of CCM are the President of CCM, Darko Dimovski, the President of the Union of AGRO, Zhivko Danevski and the Labor Relations Advisor in CCM, Lile Petrova who will present the positions of the bodies of CCM regarding the text of the new Labor Law which was prepared by CCM and submitted to the MLSP.
The workshop is also attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, as well as Ms Eglė Radišauskienė, Vice Minister of Social Security and Labor, from Lithuania and Ms Aušra Bagdonaitė, Head of the Tripartite Council Coordination Division from the Ministry of Social Security and Labour, Lithuania.
The aim of this workshop is to undertake an in-depth assessment of the draft Labor Law. The experts will provide advice and recommendations on the level of alignment to the EU acquis on labour rights and the necessary steps to take in this respect. The experts will as well advise on which further legislative measures to undertake so to lower the rigidity of the labour market and increase employment flexibility.
