Celebrating the 7th of October, the World Day for Decent Work, the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia emphasizes that the consequences of the pandemic with Covid-19 have unequivocally shown that workers and citizens should and must be the center of interest and care of all government policies.
CCM puts all its capacities in the direction of undertaking activities and measures for providing decent work for all, which means work that includes: protection of the health and life of workers, real and sustainable jobs, earnings that will guarantee existential stability, social security, gender equality, respect for human rights without discrimination and a healthy environment.
"A new social contract for recovery and resilience" is the central theme for the union family of ITUC and ETUC. CCM as a full member of the world trade union movement, in the coming period, shall promote and implement this initiative through all its activities.
