APPEAL TO THE EMPLOYERS: TO PROTECT WORKERS' HEALTH DURING EXTREMELY HIGH TEMPERATURES
The Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia calls on all employers, in conditions when it is announced that in the coming days, the entire territory of the country will be affected by temperatures from the yellow (alert) phase, to respect the measures provided by the Action Plan to prevent the consequences of heat waves on the health of the population.
All workers who work in conditions of exposure to high temperatures are exposed to heat stress. Heat stress is defined as a physical and physiological response of a worker to the temperature at which he is exposed to his workplace.
